Future Grants Confirmed for the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme
Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) – future grants confirmed.
The Government announced that the SEISS will continue until September and the fourth and fifth grants will take into account submitted 2019-20 tax returns. This means that claims may be available, even if you were not eligible for previous grants. However 19-20 tax returns needed to be submitted by 2 March 2021 to be eligible.
The fourth grant will be available to claim from late April. From mid-April HMRC will send out personal claim dates which will be the earliest date that you can claim, this is to ensure that the system is fast and easy to use. You must make your claim for the fourth grant between your personal claim date and 31 May 2021 at the latest.
